Brew Guide: Pour Over

Do you have a pour over brewer? Here is how we  at Moyee Coffee use ours to make the perfect coffee! 

 

Items needed:

Brewer and Jag (Kinto Oct / Hario V60 / Clever Dripper)
Filter Paper (size 4)
Scale
Kettle
Ground Coffee 15g / 30g
Hot Water 250ml / 500ml

 

Place a filter paper in the brewer and rinse it with hot water

1. Place a filter paper in the brewer and rinse it with hot water

2. After water is drained, place brewer over mug 

 


After water is drained, place brewer over mug

3. Pour 30g of ground coffee (make sure it settles evenly)

 

Pour 30g of ground coffee

4. Start the timer and pour about 60g of hot water. ( make sure all coffee is wetted and bloom for 30-40 secs)

 

Pour more hot water into the brewer
5. Pour more hot water into the brewer and stop pouring hot water when the scale hits 500g

 

Give a couple of gentle stirs with a spoon
6. Give a couple of gentle stirs with a spoon
7. Enjoy your coffee!
