The most compact 2-group commercial espresso machine available.

The Nuova Simonelli Appia Life Compact is the smallest footprint 2-group commercial espresso machine on the market — and it does not compromise on performance to get there. By redesigning the layout and reducing the width by 9 inches versus the standard Appia Life, Nuova Simonelli created a machine that fits any counter space, any café layout, any environment where room is tight — without removing a single group, steam wand, or commercial-grade feature.

Inside is a single 7.5-litre boiler with heat exchange technology that supplies both brewing water and steam simultaneously — the same reliable configuration used across the commercial Appia range. The Soft Infusion System (SIS) pre-wets the coffee puck at low pressure before full extraction begins, reducing channelling and producing more consistent, balanced espresso even when tamping technique varies between baristas.

Volumetric dosing with up to 4 programmable presets per group means shot volumes are consistent from the first cup to the last, with no manual timing required. Two baristas can work simultaneously from two groups and two steam wands. The optional Autosteam wand disengages automatically when the milk reaches the correct temperature — reducing waste, improving consistency, and removing one more variable from the busy café workflow.

Nuova Simonelli is part of the Simonelli Group — the same Italian manufacturer behind Victoria Arduino. The Appia Life Compact is built to the same standard of Italian commercial craftsmanship, with a stainless steel body and raised group heads designed for durability and ease of cleaning. For cafés and hospitality venues that want a genuine commercial espresso setup without surrendering counter space, this is the machine.
