THE FARMER - DELFIN CARVAJAL
Delfin Carvajal is an ambitious and talented farmer who runs Finca El Corozal. Driven by his curiosity and entrepreneurial spirit, Delfin has shown us his remarkable talent. Dellfin owes his incredible knowledge on coffee to 4 generations in his family. The Finca El Corozal is now maintained by the family of 7 brothers, all working together to grow their top quality coffee.
THE FARM - FINCA EL COROZAL
Finca El Corozal obtained Rainforest Alliance certification in 2009 and they continue to make enormous efforts to protect the environment. Like Moyee, they don't allow incineration and they carefully monitor their water system during the washing process, reuse and compost the byproduct of the coffee cherries, and they use no pesticides.
THE ROASTER - JOSÉ MOLLURA
The Garzón has been selected and roasted by our head roaster José Mollura. After more than 15 years in the coffee world, José knows absolutely everything about coffee, from crop to cup. José is only 1 of 3,500 Q-graders worldwide (a Q-grader is the coffee equivalent of a vinologist for wine).
